Carpe Diem- Enjoying the Weekend and Loving Life

I was able to enjoy my cabin for the second time this week. It is so beautiful in Oakley, Utah, right around Smith and Moorehouse reservoir. There are pine trees, quakies, and just great mountain peaks in a narrow valley. On the way home I was able to ride my bike down the canyon and enjoy the outdoors (minus a few spots where the horses left their scent).

It was nice this morning to wake up next to my son and then to just finish reading Dr. Wayne Dyer’s book “Getting in the Gap”. I was inspired by my friend and COO Brandon because I saw him reading “Atlas Shrugged” when I woke up. It was just a relaxing morning. It is peaceful at our cabin- a real perfect place for kids to have a good time. I took my son for a few rides on the four wheeler just taking in the scenary. Breck loves going for rides and spotting deer. At our cabin you can actually have the deer come and eat out of your hand. We saw five or six deer on our first ride this morning.

One of the great things about this web-site is that I have had time to reflect on just how blessed I have been. The experiences I have had and the people I know are incredible. It is just critical to do what you love for a living. Without that key component I don’t know if all the other areas would have turned out the same. It just really makes a difference when one experiences the abundance in work and then can recognize, look for and appreciate abundance in all other areas.

The last four year I have been able to travel abroad. One of the times taking my father to Scotland. We have been able to go on multiple vacations throughout each year and I just have great family and friends. I don’t say this to brag, but to just acknolege it and use it as an example of possibility. The possibility that I speak of is living a life one loves. Not buying into the fallacy of retirement or the fantasy of someday. Why not now and why not me? That is the question that I asked and I recommend anyone ask of their life. Someday is today!!! Carpe Diem!!! Retirement is crippling to so many. Why not live an extraordinary life today. Go through and figure out the things that you love about life, the things that you want to do, and those activities that inspire you. What is in line with your Soul Purpose? And on the other hand what about the things that you hate? When would you give those up? Why not now? What would it take? These have been some of the most critical thoughts and actions to creating the type of life I love. I take that ideal pictue, that which people save for retirement, and I live it today.

Now, it isn’t always easy. It takes living a life of hard-easy vs. easy-hard. Doing the things and answering the questions that most avoid until the circumstances are dire. This is my charge to you- do your producer power hour. It might be hard now, but it sets up the most favorable circumstances for wealth, true wealth- Beyond money and finances. A state of joy where you recognize the power you have within.

If you are struggling with implementation of any of this, or you don’t know how to start- just list everything you are grateful for. This creates a great environment to unleash abundance. I am on the radio 5 days a week. You can listen on FreedomFastTrack.com. That is another way to keep on track. Look to see what events we post on this web-site or look at the books we recommend on our bookstore that is coming soon.

Hopefully sharing pieces of my life, and then some advice on how I was able to do it , may spark something for you. I don’t want to say this is the only way, I just want to be authentic in sharing and through the sharing illuminate opportunty.

So, sieze the day because someday is today. Live a life that you love and help as many others recognize it is possible for them too.

Well…last night I was able to wear my cowboy boots. I went to the Oakley, Utah rodeo with some friends. We took my son and he was able to wear some boots for the first time. Funny how something so simple can have such a big impact. We got into character and my son just loved running around and showing off his boots.
