It is a new year and I am back from my break of blogging. I decided that over the holiday season I wouldn’t take my computer anywhere with me so I could focus on my family.

I wanted to begin by talking about the Producer Power Hour (PPH). In the past few days I have had an opportunity to talk with members of PPH. It is consistent that people find more clarity and build confidence when beginning the day with a focus on their Human Life Value. People are gaining more energy by committing to this habit on a daily basis. Each person customizes their own program and some even switch it up on a regular basis, but it is consistent that people are more productive by taking some time to focus on their greatest asset- themself.

A consistent area that people are having great progress is meditation. How often do we take time to just listen or focus without constant thoughts of what has to be done. There are many benefits of meditation and also various ways to meditate. There are books on mediation, music to create an atmosphere for mediation or even activities or places that put people in a meditative state. For me, I created a special room in my house designed specifically for meditation and to focus on the spiritual realm. I have a shelf with sacred and spiritual books, rocks that I have collected from places where I have meditated, pictures of spritual masters from the past and present, a waterfall feature, prayer bowl, flowers, bench and pillows. Really anything that assists me in getting in a sacred space.

I have personally found that where my time and money goes, my attention and intention grows. This was one of the reasons I created a meditation room. I have a special keypad that locks the room. When I enter, I have a ritual where I light a candle, plug in the water feature, and pick a name from the prayer bowl. Most times I begin some music to listen to when I meditate. Many times I begin with a prayer of gratitude or a reality statement (I have shared some reality statements that I have written in past posts). I sit with my legs crossed on the bench and my hands open. I close my eyes and breath deeply. Sometimes I focus on a word or a phrase and say it to myself as I breath in and out. Other times I chant the word Ohm. I have audio cd’s that guide me in to mediation other times. There is not right way, just the way one prefers. I usually meditate for 10-20 minutes. I like to do it at the end of my power hour. Once again, each person is different, but personally I end with meditation.

It was just three years ago that I had never meditated. The first time I meditated my basement wasn’t finished and I remebered walking around to make sure everything was OK after about 20 seconds of meditation. I did this about three times, so I really only meditated for a minute. The whole time I wondered if I was doing it right, wondering why I was doing it and ultimately feeling unproductive. Now, after study and practice, I am clear of the importance and benefits of mediation. For me it provides connection and clarity. It promotes my abundance mindset. Ultimately it brings out my Soul Purpose.

In Western culture it is rare for people to meditate. It isn’t something many people are raised with or that is taught to someone in their religious practice. I am excited that we have focused on it during the last two Hour of Power sessions for the Producer Power Hour. It is great to talk with people utilizing the membership and seeing them begin to have great results with meditation. Others are just beginning, but are committed to making it part of their daily life. I wanted to share some of the progression I have had with mediation and congratulate those integrating this practice into thier life. Hopefully if you have not ever meditated you can begin today by just breathing deeply and working to clear your mind and create space.

I came up with the acronym PEIWOC to describe lasting transformation.
The P stands for Process. It is essential to have a system or process to reinforce crucial elements and form positive habits.
E is for Education. Education is the key to unlock potential and elevate the value one can deliver. To understand the proper philosophy.
I is for Insight. With education comes the insight and awareness for adjustment or to take the proper action.
W is for Wealth. With education and insight one is able to have the proper mindset of wealth. Wealth is not a state of having, it is a state of being.
O is for Opportunity. As this equation develops, people see opportunity that was once unseen before the proper viewpoint existed.
C is for Capitalization. Action must be taken to take potenial and turn it into production. We all have abilities and talents, but they must be used in the service of another to capitalize on those abilities and talents.

Become an expert by focusing on your industry/career on a daily basis. Use this formula as a way to accelerate the results. Enjoy!

How do you define investing? I consider anything that increases and exposes my Human Life Value to be an investment. Each morning I have an opportunity to do a Producer Power Hour. This is an investment. It isn’t something I necessarily deposit money into and measure the direct rate of return or investigate the past performance by any numbers. But this is still an investment. One of the most important investments is to increase ones ability to provide value and fine what creates lasting happiness. In today’s society it is being taught that there isn’t enough time and that we are all too busy to invest. Once again I go back to the inital question. How do you define investing? How can you invest in what creates lasting happiness? Do you know what makes you happy?

By discovering what makes you happy and also what you are great at allows one to become an investor. Producer Power Hour, a daily commitment to discovering what makes one happy and also what a person’s Soul Purpose is, can be one of the best and most rewarding investments anyone can do. It doesn’t take the ability to anaylze from a myriad of investment products, or to know the newest technique or strategy, but is more important to investing because it focuses on the true asset- YOU. When will you begin?

There are plenty of times in my life when I know what is best for me, but my actions have not been consistent with doing what is best for me. The best example I can think of would be with eating and exercise. I know what is fully healthy and that exercise is beneficial, but when I do not have space created to workout that I have committed to in advance or a trainer that I have scheduled to meet, my results are limited at best.

It is also interesting that many financial professionals don’t have a mentor or advisor because they know what to do, but many times they do not implement in their own lives. For me, I have had to look into areas of my life that are not ideal and I have created accountability. I have a manager, Brandon Allen, that sees that the ideas I have come to fruition, a trainer, a cook, a Board of Directors, an analysts for investing in several areas, a spiritual mentor, etc.

For me this allows my philosophy to be consistent with my actions, even when I don’t feel like it. This week I started a new physical training program. The night before it started my son stayed up most of the nght and kept me up. I had such limited sleep that I surely would have skipped working out if I didn’t have the accountabilty with this training program. The next night my son was sick and vomiting, therefore I was even more sleep deprived, but I made the workout due to the structure of accountabilty. In the workout, I am pushed to work harder than on my own.

Steve and I do a half day workshop on Soul Purpose this Friday at The Grand America. After the workshop I am doing two breakout sessions. One is on Killing Sacred Cows and the other is on insurance. For the insurance segment I am acutally going to talk about insurance of the mind, not about a particular product. Saturday morning I do another Killing Sacred Cows session and then Steve and I travel to St. George for the Soul Purpose Igniter. Last night we had our Hour of Power featuring Steve D’annunzio. The place with packed and full of energy. This is only the second Hour of Power that we have had, but it had almost double the people that attended the inagural session. After the speaker is finished, we do mastermind session where people share and customize the experience. This creates accountability and internalization. Roberto Monaco will be our next featured guest on December 5. These are on the first Wednesday of the month and can be attended in person or via videocast on ProducerPowerHour.com.

October was probably the craziest month I have ever had in business. I apologize for breaking my word on these past few posts. I had the intention to start posting 4-5 times per week again, but obviously I didn’t do that. Sorry. Breaking my word is unacceptable and I sincerely apologize.

There has been much going on. In previous posts and during the last few Wealth Symposiums, I have declared that I would be selling much of my real estate. For the most part, real estate has not been something that supports my Soul Purpose and in many cases it takes me further from my Soul Purpose. Well….I have several properties in partnership and my partner is heading towards bankruptcy. For the first time in my life I consulted an attorney for something that was more reactionary or to deal with difficulty rather than proactively planning. In the wake of any seemingly negative news, comes the good side. This has sped up my declaration to clean up my real estate holdings.

Another example of the bright side, for every decision that I have made that will either result in a loss or at least an inconvience, I made ten great decisions. Without these situations I wouldn’t be able to recognize principles as clearly. It leaves me with the question “if what you knew to be true turned out not to be, when would you want to know about it?” What if not knowing created temporary comfort for you, would you still want to know? I say resoundingly YES. These temporary obstacles give insight to great lessons and even though they are uncomfortable and difficult, they are the catalyst for growth.

Just this last Friday we had our second Quarterly Quantum for Mental FastTrack. The models were powerful and the group is absolutely amazing. The amount of Human Capital that is represented in those events is massive. What I am saying is that the genuis, Soul Purpose, and ingenuity that is represented by such a high calibur group brings about enormous value in the marketplace and for sure in my life.

This week Steve D’Annunzio is in town. He will be doing the Hour of Power on Wednesday. This is a videocast that anyone can attend at 6:30 mst either at 9890 South 300 West Sandy, Utah or live via videocast at ProducerPowerHour.com. It will be powerful for those of you wanted to find your Soul Purpose. Steve will be talking about the Spiritual Track where Soul Purpose already resides, just yet to be uncovered.

This last month the rough draft to The Money Tree was complete, the Quarterly Curriculum for the Producer Power Hour. I will be working on it all day and then Garrett White will join me for the second half of the day (he is a co-author on the book).

In summary, here are a few things that happened last month. The Prosperity Paradigm had a retreat last month, the intro packets for the Mental FastTrack and Soul Purpose FastTrack are nearly complete. The Producer Power Hour was launched. I began as a guest on the Kate Delany show (a nationally syndicated radio program). Hired a new writer. Committed to a literary agent and Killing Sacred Cows was picked up by a publisher. Also had several articles published. The Accredited Network now presents an event that is open to the public and we launched our first one last month successfully. Many obstacles to face, but much more positives to be thankful for. What is your perspective?

I am excited because of a great meeting Thursday. Josh, one of the participants in Mental FastTrack and absolute stud, brought an amazing idea that we will launch on the 24th of October at the University of Utah. Details will come, but I wanted to mention it because Josh invented this program and then expanded it with the Idea Optimizer (a model I created for my business and that was shared in the Mental FastTrack). It will be great to be part of this program and to demonstrate to people in college the possibilities of economic independence and following ones Soul Purpose.

Friday was also a great day as I spent some personal time with the Engenuity advisors and the my new writer Rebecca. I was able to refine and create content for the Producer Power Hour web-site and to create some of the member benefits that will be starting this week. Working on content is one of my favorite activities, especially where I am able to convey a message to someone that captures and perfects the idea. Having it in writing allows for it to live past the moment that it is spoken. With the purpose of the Producer Power Hour it also is content that is more than just information, it is in a system, that when followed leads to transformation.

The features of the Producer Power Hour include the Hour of Power each month. I spoke at the kickoff and then attendees joined mastermind groups afterward. The next two speakers are: Steve D’Annunzio in November and Roberto Monaco in December.

Last night we began the Producer Power Hour membership with an event. This is a monthly event where we videocast a featured speaker- we call it the Hour of Power. After the speaker there is a matermind session that takes place. This allows for everyone to personalize the message from the Hour of Power. An association with others that are integrating and implementing a Producer Power Hour allows for declaration, renewed energy, a forum or value exchange, and a sounding board for each individual to cultivate and share experiences.

Most memberships that I see are dedicated to information delivery. What makes this unique is that it is built upon a formula for results. The acronym for this formula is

The P stands for Process. To have information become transformational there must be a process or system for it to be implemented. The Producer Power Hour is a daily system that when consistently used will bring clarity and energy. Ultimately it provides favorable conditions for people to discover their Soul Purpose.

The E is for Education. We don’t know what we don’t know and there are basically three ways of discovery. Through pain if we didn’t know and due to the lack of knowing we find ourselves in a situation where we are confroted directly with experience. I could give millions of examples here, but hopefully you get the picture. We can have a positive experience or what someone might say “fall into it”. That would be the second, unintentional way. Finally, we can discover through proactive education. Education is the key to unlocking our potential and bringing our Human Life Value where we can recognize it.

The I is for Insight. As we are educated, we have the opportuntity to look into our lives and this creates a personal awareness. This can illuminate what the education means to us.

W is for wealth. Everyone has the ingredients of Soul Purpose already. Most don’t recognize it because they have an improper understanding of wealth and believe it is outside of them or something given to them. When money is not the reason or excuse for doing or not doing anything then people can focus on how to truely create value and live Soul Purpose. They can have confidence and an unshakeable belief in the value they offer.

O is for Opportunity. When one can see the world through the eyes of abundance it is possible to recognize opportunity that has always been invisible before.

C is for Capitalize. With all other areas of this formula one knows how to take action. This action is now consistent with their Human Life Value and Soul Purpose. Not only are they producing more than they consume, they are passoinate and confident about life.

This is the Producer Power Hour.

Today and tomorrow I meet with Michael Drew, a book promoter, to develop the marketing plan to take Killing Sacred Cows to the bestseller lists.

I will be on am1400 at 8-9 with FastTrack Radio starting today.

The annual Rock Star Party was this weekend. There was a live band, limos, red carpet, and plenty of costumes.

Another week filled with plenty of opportunity, projects and ultimately, our membership launch on Wed. night.

I am excited for the approaching October 3rd Hour of Power. I will be speaking and explaining the Producer Power Hour concept, membership, and mastermind sessions that follow the videocast each month. We will bring in speakers that have stories, businesses, or experiences relevant to each person creating a successful Power Hour. One of the main benefits of a Power Hour is to develop and cultivate ones Human Life Value. It is going internal to discover Soul Purpose. When a person is living in their Soul Purpose, they are the most powerful producer possible.

The mastermind sessions are designed to utilize the sounding board of a mentor and the human capital of the entire group. Ideas can be expanded through the synergy of a group and it also gives an opportunity to personalize the information shared the hour before. There will be people who attend the presentation live at 9890 South 300 West in Sandy, Utah and yet others will participate around the country. Those in locations without a mentor or a full mastermind group will be given the opportunity to call in on a conference line and participate via the phone. There was actually a radio caller from Louisiana who attended the Producer Power Hour symposium via videocast earlier this month that said he has consistently implemented his Power Hour since the event. He attributed the consistency to his mastermind leader Greg Blackbourn. During the event, Greg was the leader via conference call. It worked tremedously well and so I would expect the same for the monthly masterminds.
